If your account on the computer is linked to a Microsoft Account, you will be prompted for the password each time you turn on your PC. With this guide, I'll explain how to remove the password prompt when the computer is running Windows 10 (or Windows 8.1).

Removing login password

Right click on the START button and selecting Run.

Finally, click OK to close the User Accounts window. From now on you won't be prompted for a password when you start your PC.

If your computer asks you again the password probably was on standby and not off. To remove the password to wake from standby follow this tuotial.
