After installing or upgrading of some free software, it is possible that Internet Explorer does not open the page that had previously set. With this guide I will explain how to change the Internet Explorer home page.

How to change your home page

Open Internet Explorer. In the address bar, type the address of the site you want as your home page in Internet Explorer (in the example below, www.advicepedia.com), click the arrow on the right side of the address bar (or press Enter on the keyboard)

Now that you are on the page you want, click on the gear at the top right, and from the menu that appears, select Internet options.

In the new window that pops up (Internet Options), make sure you are on the General tab. Now click on the button Use current, click apply, and then click OK.

Now you can close and reopen Internet Explorer, which will start with the homepage that you just set up.
